Description:
Provide customer service (via phone and letter) to incoming callers
Responsible for the research, identification, timely and accurate processing of benefit payments recoveries/ provider refunds request
Provide administrative, production, and inventory control support to the units staff and management
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1 year of experience dealing directly with the public and working with claims preferred
Background in any of the following areas: data entry, claims processing, or medical terminology
Must be willing to follow in place procedures
Have strong concentration, listening, and problem-solving skills
Must be capable of handling multiple assignments and able to prioritize work with minimal supervision
Be able to function well under stressful situations and deal with them effectively
Strong verbal, listening, and communications skills required
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Must accommodate overtime as needed and have flexible availability on weekends as necessary
Must be comfortable navigating through systems and various databases
Intermediate to Advanced skills with PC and Microsoft Office
Must be self-directed and work well under tight deadlines
Pay Rate: $11.00 ? 13.00/hour
