Collections Specialist Job Opening in Seabrook, New hampshire - Credit, Collections and Accounts Receivable Specialists Wanted
Looking for individuals with anywhere from 1 to many years of experience of performing Accounts Receivable functions, that are interested in utilizing their accounting knowledge to aid in the financial success of a growing company. This person should be comfortable learning new software?s, be proficient in using Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and Outlook and most importantly, be a team player with a positive attitude.
A typical day will consist of:
Contacting customers regarding past due payments
Managing a portfolio of commercial clients and providing them with exceptional customer service, assisting them with resolving any questions or concerns that may arise regarding their account
Maintaining up to date information regarding any correspondence with customer?s
Processing new customer credit applications, and researching customers' financials, organizational and payment history utilizing credit reference letters and credit reports
Performing daily account reconciliation duties such as misapplied cash, refunds, credits and/or duplicate payments
Performing daily reconciliation of misapplied cash, duplicate payments, refunds, etc.
Preparing and submitting accounts receivable reports, such as the Days Sales Outstanding.
Preparing accounts for 3rd party action and recommends accounts for write-off.
*All collections performed are business to business and we are not seeking individuals with consumer collections experience.
