Landscape Project Supervisior Job Opening in Middle River, Maryland - Position Title: Landscape Project Supervisor

Summary:
Supervises and coordinates the activities of crews on the Landscape and Irrigation Installation for industrial, commercial, or public properties and other activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate crew members (Laborers). Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (may perform any or all of the following duties : )
Under general direction, in a timely, neatly and efficient manner
In a fair and consistent manner, assigns daily tasks to Crew Leaders
Responsible for all quality and safety standards for self and work crews on site and at customer locations
Receives estimates on accounts and coordinates/orders all materials & delivery times
Establishes and manages project budgets, accounting, costing, and billing
Communicates contracted services to production staff and provides copies of plans, contract documents, and specifications
Coordinate project schedules with team members
Coordinates with onsite Superintendents/GC?s/Owners on site readiness.
Conducts daily site inspections with onsite Super?s/GC?s/Owners and the Landscape Crew Leader
Monitor weekly job schedules and production efficiencies
Tracks and monitors labor and material job costs and insure project is kept on budget
Maintains positive relationships with clients, addressing all questions and concerns in a timely manner through regular site inspetions
Completes project closeout paperwork and client sign off and follow up on guarantee and replacements
Maintain solid working relationships with general contractors and other parties used by the company
Safety operates all levels of heavy equipment
Trains, mentors and develops employees to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness of crews
Responsible for the proper use, care, safety standards and inventory of company vehicles, equipment and tools assigned to and used by crew
Coordinates Miss Utility in a timely manner
Monitors daily paperwork from Crew Leader in a timely and accurate manner
Ensures customer service at all sites
May perform field work as needed
Responsible for accurately and timely reporting of all accidents and ensures company policies on accidents are followed
Other duties as assigned
:
A minimum of 3 years directly related experience; including supervising a crew of at least 4
Certified Professional Horticulturist a plus.
Maintain a current driver?s license with a clean driving record
Must be able to read blueprints
Ability to communicate successfully in a written and oral format
Solid ability to coach, train, direct and effectively manage a crew
Proven effectiveness in a project management environment
Proficiency in MS Office and excel
Must possess excellent time management, multi-tasking and ability to handle changing priorities skills
Maintain a neat and clean appearance
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
CLT a plus
