Assistant Property Manager Job Opening in Columbia, Maryland - Renters Warehouse BW Metro is a residential Property Management company based in Columbia, serving individual owners of single family homes. We are seeking qualified candidates in our Rent Collection department. The primary goal of this position is to offer support to the Property Accounting team and maintain great customer relations with tenants and property owners. This position can create or destroy a loyal client and is of great importance to the reputation of Renters Warehouse. Renters Warehouse offers its employees great opportunity for growth. Duties of a member of our Rent Collection team may include:
Providing a high-level of customer service to all clients.
Communicating with property owners, tenants, and leasing agents.
Answering questions about our company?s services with potential customers.
Accounting using our property management software
Monthly rent collection by use of emails, letters, and phone calls.
Activate tenant ACH portals
Collect late fees, NSF fees, and fines
Negotiate Payment Plans
Lease Enforcement
Facilitate Evictions and making court appearances on behalf of owners.
Other responsibilities may be added as the position and the company grow.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Education Required: High School Diploma, Some higher education preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organization skills.
Self-Manager: Able to manage multiple projects or priorities on your own.
Ability to diffuse difficult situations while handling customer service with poise and respect.
Possess strong computer skills and be good at multitasking.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gmail, CRM software.
Adaptive to change and innovation.
Accountable for your actions and open and honest.
Property management and customer service experience is preferred.

Hours: Full Time, 40hours a week, Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm with one hour break.
