Food Service Supervisor Job Opening in los angeles, California - Food Service Supervisor Scope: The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the food preparations facilities. This includes meal planning preparation, food distribution to all kitchens and supervising the kitchen participants in the safe preparation and serving of food. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise daily food preparation by participants Manage and oversee the organization and proper storage of inventory and food rotation Develop and maintain emergency food and equipment plan Assist with and provide food for special events Participate in preparing menus Ensure kitchen activities comply with licensing, sanitation and safety regulations; ensures quality of food Other: Current Food Certification ( or in process) Assist with driving and the pick up of supplies and donations Must have California Driver's license, transportation and insurance Maintain a neat and well groomed appearance Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements, attendance and punctuality Able to communicate in English, both oral and written Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel Must be able to lift 50 pounds Starting salary is $14.00 per hour plus benefits Background check is mandatory NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE email: los angeles ca california
