AM Pierce & Associates is in search for a candidate who will be providing financial support to NAVAIR. Locations: Patuxent River, MD, Jacksonville, FL, Cherry Point, NC and San Diego, CA.
The successful candidate will provide consulting and financial support to NAVAIR Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) as they work to complete the Navy's audit readiness initiative for continuous improvement, monitoring and reporting of audit capabilities.
The successful candidate will have the education and experience below:
Performing quarterly financial statement reconciliations, as well as re-performing audits of the Revenue, AP, UDO and UCO accounts for each NAVAIR Fleet Readiness Center
Performing background research on multiple topics, writes directives, processes and procedures, white papers and creates various ad-hoc reports, as needed
Develop and implement corrective action /remediation plans and perform sustainment testing on CAPs in accordance with the FIAR testing strategy
Effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work independently, as well as, productively collaborate in a large team environment
DoD Secret Clearance is required
Associates degree with 8 years or bachelor?s degree with three years experience
Working Conditions
The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for the majority of the workday. The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
