Bookkeeper/Office Manager Job Opening in Braintree, Massachusetts - An established 30-year Union company with twenty plus employees is seeking a full-time Must be Quickbooks proficient, very meticulous to details and highly organized. The candidate must have at least 2 years in small business bookkeeping in a construction company environment. General office and clerical duties will be part of the multi-tasking responsibilities of the position.
Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks Premier Contractor, general ledger postings, reconciliation, cash analysis, banking, union reporting and monthly sales tax filings
2 years small business accounting required
Responsibilities:
Able to multi-task
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Contract documents to include certificates of insurance, lien waivers, certified payroll/ OCIP/CCIP and familiar with AIA documents
Coordinate Payroll (through third party payroll company)
Client invoices
Monthly bank reconciliation
Mail, licensing, recertification, compliance documents and insurance renewal and audits
Must work well with others
Knowledge of Quantum a plus
Compensation is competitive and dependent on experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield health and dental.
