National Grocery Sales Manager Job Opening in Louisville, Colorado - A local Louisville company is looking for a National Retail Sales Manager with extensive experience in the retail/grocery natural foods industry. Our chai and ready-to-drink lines are available nationally at Whole Foods and other retailers. We take pride in the premium ingredients we use in our products. The National Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales related activities and will be the main point of contact for our retail/grocery line of business. This will include brokers, distributors and retailers. This role will work with every department at the company to successfully meet the retail business customers? needs. They will be the driving force behind increases in revenue and the success of the company's retail business. In conjunction with the CEO they will plan and execute the company?s sales strategy. This role will report to the CEO of the company. This will be an independent role in an office setting that will require domestic travel.
Responsibilities Include:
-Customer and distributor communication and management
-Broker network management including setting broker guidelines, objectives and progress reviews
-Insuring that brand identity in the marketplace coincides with company goals and identity
-Promotion/trade spend planning, execution and analysis
-New product innovations and presentations
-Sales calls
-Budget planning and execution
-New business development ? including market analyses
-Marketing and social media management
Required Experience:
-Bachelor?s Degree in a field of study that strengthened sales/ marketing skills, business negotiations and analytical/critical thinking
-5 years non-alcoholic beverage sales experience with a proven growth record
-3 years retail/grocery natural food industry sales experience
-Must have a strong understanding of the grocery/retail beverage industry
-Comprehensive understanding of market and channels through proven industry experience
-Excellent verbal and communication skills
-Exceptional project management and organizational skills
-Must be self-motivated and able to think outside of the box
-Microsoft Office proficiency (including Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
-Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency a plus
-Productive working in a collaborative, team environment with minimal oversight
Salary Range - $50,000 - $60,000 base salary + commission and bonus program
Benefits include: health insurance, 401k, paid vacation and sick time.
