Senior Payroll Analyst with Workday Job Opening in Wilmington, Delaware - We have a contract opening for a Senior Payroll Analyst with workday experience. This position is approved for 4 and ½ months with the possibility of being extended. The job location is in downtown Wilmington Delaware.

Pay Rate: $35/Hr.

Payroll Analyst Job Description

Performs a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, processing requests for paycheck advances, and processing terminations. Operates all departmental equipment. Works under general supervision. Requires 5 to 7 years of related experience and normally requires specific training. FPC designation preferred.

Processes/Pays all Company employees.

Ensure preparation and processing of weekly, biweekly, monthly and on demand payrolls (US payroll only) using the Workday system. Manages audit report calculations in preparation of payroll processing in conjunction with OSV.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of required reporting (i.e. incident reporting, metrics, payroll summary, etc.)

performs a variety of complex accounting functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification and reconciliation of employee leave information, payroll records and performs related duties as required.

Skills Required:
Must have multi-state payroll experience

Research, analyze and retrieve data to prepare and maintain complex payroll records, summaries and reports;

Reconcile differences within established payroll and benefit using critical analysis skills;

Interpret, explain and comply with prescribed laws, rules, regulations, and procedures; monitor, audit, reconcile, and balance a variety of data and transactions;

Perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately;

Identify and correct errors;

Operate a variety of standard office equipment;

Set up and maintain database files;

Create spreadsheets and other related forms, reports and documents (excellent Excel skills);

Use independent judgment to maintain statistical records;

Communicate effectively in both oral and written form; follow detailed directions;

Set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines;

Coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously;

Work independently and as a team member;

Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during work.
