We have a need for a full time software engineer with a strong Java background. The opportunity is on site and is available immediately.

We?d like someone to help lead highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of software. This engineer must have the ability to analyze user requirements, conduct research, and employ new capabilities as the team develops a software product. The right candidate would also be able to support and train less experienced technical staff. The candidate must be self motivated and be able to produce results with little supervision. Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor?s degree in computer science, computer programming or closely related field. Substitution: A combination of related work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the bachelor?s degree.
At least 2 years of full-time professional Java or C++ development experience.
Knowledge of Agile software development processes or experience in an Agile software development team.
Experience in data formats such as XML and JSON.
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Additional Qualifications:

6 years of full-time professional software development experience.
Experience in video and/or image formats and/or processing.
Experience in software development with OSGi.
Experience in mobile software development in Android or iOS.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
