OneWorld operates four School Based Health Centers in the South Omaha area. These health centers are located inside of Omaha Public Schools (OPS) schools. We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to help us achieve our goal of providing excellent healthcare to underserved children in our community. As a provider at OneWorld, you will have the opportunity to provide high quality, family-centered care to children in a cross-cultural setting. You will also be involved in strategic planning and quality improvement. Our EHR system has in house technical support with provider-driven enhancements. Our providers have light phone call duty with nurse screening and triage that rotates through a team of 20+ is a full-time position (40 hours/week) and is located at Liberty Elementary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master?s degree in Nursing Practice required. (Family Practice or Pediatrics.)
- License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nebraska required. (Or license-eligible.)
- BLS certification required.
- 2 or more years of experience required. New grads need not apply.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
(Our providers must be able to communicate with patients in Spanish, at an intermediate level at least, without the use of an interpreter.)
Our providers are eligible for student loan repayment. OneWorld is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site with HPSA scores of:
20 - Medical
22 - Dental
21 - Mental Health
