Goldin Management is a growing full service real estate company based in Park Slope, Brooklyn since 1987. We specialize in property management and provide services to over 160 buildings primarily in New York City. We continue to grow and are seeking a new Accounting staff person that shares our standards and possesses the relevant skills and experience.
Basic Duties
Communicate with building occupants, explaining and resolving account balance issues. Respond to related questions primarily by phone and email;
Generate management reports;
Execute the transfer of occupant?s deposits;
Import account transaction information;
Send collections letters to clients;
Deposit checks via check scanner;
Provide support for insurance staff;
Organize, attend and support apartment closings and transfers;
Interface and coordinate with tax attorneys on behalf of our clients;
File annual Biennial Statements;
Track tax abatements; and
Opportunities for new tasks and advancement exist.
Job Requirements
On the job training will be provided. The following attributes are desired.
Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently in a busy changing environment
Confident team player able to maintain positive relationships
Excellent written and communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
Achieved undergraduate degree
Compensation
Commensurate with experience
