Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for developing, executing and monitoring marketing and communications plans for ASA membership recruitment and retention, and quality initiatives. This person will be responsible for achieve goals such as communicating member value, achieving revenue goals and meeting customer expectations. This person will work collaboratively with other departments, recommend and implement marketing and communication strategies and tactics, and provide reports on how campaigns are performing. Campaign key performance indicators will be monitored regularly and adjustments made to ensure goals are achieved.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Develops and executes the marketing and communication plans to achieve revenue goals for membership and quality, while ensuring member value is communicated. Works with Marketing and Communications team to ensure member value is consistently represented across ASA communications.
Works in collaboration with other departments such as Membership and Quality to create effective campaigns for membership, products, programs and services. Goes above and beyond to meet client needs.
Monitors and evaluates the campaign outcomes and makes recommendations to ensure objectives are achieved. Creates quarterly and year-end outcome reports.
Regularly monitors sales reports to ensure revenue goals are on target. Proactively alerts Director to any concerns.
When necessary, works with Pricing Recommendation Team to develop pricing recommendations and regular reviews relevant products/services using a data-driven methodology, balancing Society objectives, customer satisfaction and member value.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in marketing, communications, or other related field required.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a marketing role. Experience with electronic marketing campaigns and CRM/AMS preferred.
Experience monitoring marketing campaign performance and report development required.
Association membership recruitment and retention experience is required. Healthcare experience is a plus.
Experience writing and executing marketing plans required.
Computer proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong copywriting skills required. Knowledge of AP Style a plus.
