POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager role is responsible for assigning sales territories, set sales goals and establish training programs for the Marketing Consultants. Provide guidance on ways to improve sales performances with operational duties and driving profitability continuously.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Travel with the Marketing Consultants providing training, coaching and ongoing support as required
Must stay abreast to current policies and procedures regarding sales and marketing in-house training
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company?s customer base and ensures its strong presence
Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Lead, motivate and direct internal and external sales team deliverables
Ensure the sales representatives maintain the CRM and Magman database
Ensure all processes are in compliance with the company's policies / best practices
Produce monthly review, trend reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Manage all customer losses and assist with lead generation of accounts < $3,000
Conduct 1:1 monthly meeting and weekly meetings with Marketing Consultants
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
All other duties assigned as required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and/or (5) five to (7) seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience as an Assistant Sales / Office Manager / General Sales Manager / Sales Manager or similar
Knowledge of direct mail advertising is a plus and prior sales experience required

Marketing Consultants and administration staff

Acute attention to detail ? with a strong ability to prioritize and execute tasks
Experienced CRM user
Experienced team manager with a proven track record of managing sales staff to achieve targets
MS Office Experience mandatory MS Excel proficient
