Providence Hospitality Partners currently has an opening for a Senior Sales Manager at our Denver Corporate Office location. This position is for The Historic Hotel Colorado and is based out of our Corporate Office in Denver. You will also be required to spend time onsite at the Hotel at least twice a month if not more depending on client and Hotel needs.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who excels in finding the decision maker, negotiating a "win" for both parties and servicing clients to ensure repeat business. Our Sales Managers are confident in their selling skills and aren't afraid of a competitive marketplace. The successful candidate will be able to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts to achieve success. Job Requirements: This individual would be responsible for soliciting new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals. This will consist of telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication and file maintenance. Would direct and manage all group sales activities to maximize revenue potential. Participate in daily revenue meetings, sales strategy meetings, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales related meetings as required
* Strategic Planning: Develops, executes and Owns an annual business plan.
* Daily Responsibilities: achieves new business booking goals by making sales calls to prospective clients in accordance with pre-assigned goals. Coordinates with various departments the activities related to book business, negotiate rate and service plans to meet budgeted revenue goals.
* Client Services: responsible for client satisfaction by ensuring overall quality of group, transient and catering sales efforts in a friendly and professional manner.
* Account Management: ensures account productivity by maintaining client satisfaction and continuous rapport building through regular sales calls and proper file maintenance.
* Marketing: develops and implements special promotions to increase business from specific market segments.
Must have at least 2 years previous Hotel Sales Manager experience, If you DO NOT meet this requirement please do not apply!!
