As part of this software engineering team, you will:
Assist in the management of overall data pipelines and silos in order to create enriched/enhanced data.
Work across disciplines of data science, data engineering, and software engineering you will work with others to build and enhance and evolve tools, applications to analyze large data sets that directly impact and optimize processing and trading.
Optimize data components across the data generation and data access pipelines
Generate reference/derived data used by trading strategies and systems
Provide analytical platform enhancements and tools for data processing pipeline including dependency based scheduling and monitoring
As a Financial Applications and various platforms and applications you will be called to bring your passion for technologies and solving trading business issues and problems to rapidly implement your ideas
QUALIFICATIONS
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent plus 2-10 years of commerical experience, i.e. non-academic, developing software and data systems, or advanced academic research work
Demonstrable Advanced to Expert Level of C++ and Python knowledge and experience, and ability to pick up new technologies quickly
Experienced with Linux and shell scripting and some experience with windows would be ideal
Passion for technology
Proactive and supportive
Passion for, curiosity of, and interest in applying technology to real trading situations
Comfortable working in multi-tasking, fast paced environment
Detail oriented and capable performing tasks under time pressures
Above average problem solving skills both independently and as a member of a team
Good communication skills: must be fluent in English, spoken and written

Independent contributor and with solid team skills and orientation
