Insulspan, a leading manufacturer of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS), is seeking a Staff Accountant/Analyst based out of our Meridian, ID location to assist with everyday accounting functions. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to, cost/full cycle accounting, financial analysis and applicable reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions; including educating and training end users on reports and analysis.
Design and build various financial reports for analysis.
Research, analyze and report on variances against historical financial data and budgets.
Identify and implement process efficiencies as it relates to specific operating units.
Participate in business unit month end close process; including preparation and review of journal entries as well as researching and reporting/preparing reports on business unit operations ? profit & loss, sales, materials, labor and other expenses.
Responsible for Sales and Use tax reporting.
Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
Analyze activity based and job cost principles to correlate and report out on specific cost behaviors.
Skills, Knowledge and Requirements
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
3 to 5 years? experience
Exceptional attention to detail
High level of professionalism and integrity
Excellent organizational, decision making and problem solving skills
Able to think critically, able to apply analytical skills
Self-directed, able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to set, coordinate, and accomplish multiple competing priorities
Salary is commensurate with experience, profit sharing and benefits also available.
