Senior Credit Analyst Job Opening in Boise, Idaho - SUMMARY
This role is primary in the development of the credit presentation for all new and existing credit requests in a fast growing Idaho based community bank. Working directly with Loan Officers and Credit Manager, packages are gathered and organized, financials reviewed then spread, questions asked and answers sought, structure determined, and then the story is delivered via concise but thorough and correct credit presentation then delivered to various levels of approval authority. Loan growth is high and therefore so is the demands on this position to meet requests timely without loss of quality. Ideal candidate has requisite experience along with strong Analytical, Financial Accounting, and Writing skills necessary to think on their feet through wide variety of loan request types. Work is completed within a team of highly experienced professionals. Strong growth potential to right candidate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Work well with Loan Officers to review submitted requests and timely respond with follow-up requests and necessary disclosures, as needed.
Process analysis of tax and financials and gather and review other supporting information.
Utilizing policy and feedback from Loan Officer and Credit Manager, determine correct structure and pricing.
Build Credit Presentation to effectively but concisely communicate the merits and risks of credit presented.
Submit credits to appropriate levels for final approval timely and with utmost accuracy.
Spread collected financials on existing loans and test for financial covenants.
Maintenance of physical file and electronic files.
Other administrative duties as required, such as quarterly AQR reports, Appraisal Reviews, etc. .
Audit files to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Support lenders, VP Credit, and Chief Credit Officer as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred.
Strong understanding of Financial Accounting.
Strong written and verbal communications with emphasis on being concise.
Prefer 3+ years experience in analysis role in Commercial Lending environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Power Point, etc.).
Constructively interacts with co-workers, provides coverage and cross training as needed.
Ability to participate as a member of a team, assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned.
