Experienced candidates will be responsible for the accurate and efficient data entry of handwritten medical documentation into an electronic medical records system. Job Duties: * Transcribes handwritten medical records into an electronic medical records system. * Proofreads finished documents to ensure accuracy of entries. * Returns transcribed documents to the health care professional for review and signature or correction. * Responsible for maintaining all accuracy and productivity job goals. Qualifications: * Must have minimum 5 years (prefer 10 years) of Medical Transcription experience. * Candidates with experience in internal medicine, family practice and/or have had a wide range of experiences, exposure to information regarding a variety of diseases and medications a strong plus! * Cerner software preferred. Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) certification preferred.
