JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Development manager?s primary role is to achieve assigned annual revenue and gross margin quotas by establishing and maintaining relationships and contracts with new and existing customers in the Evansville and surrounding areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage financial data for existing and prospective customers.
Establish sales and marketing goals and identify new opportunities for potential formal partnerships or collaborations.
Construct contracts for key customers and influence the decision-making process.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with local clients.
Arrange and support sales activities, including customer meetings, regional and national meetings, training seminars and trade shows.
Work directly with the internal staff to communicate project details (re-roofs, leak repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, emergency damage response, sustainability options).
Communicate with all RSS location general manager and report to C-Suite level management on a consistent basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of commercial and industrial roofing systems
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to travel locally and meet new people and build relationships
Good follow-up skills with both bids and client/vendor relationships
A working understanding of marketing as well as a deep background in business development
Must be willing to operate within a team environment and support that environment
Preferred ? knowledge of the Evansville market and the clients/businesses that are there
Preferred ? the ability to read and understand bid documents and assist with estimating
Preferred ? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent
