Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (min.) in a healthcare / science or related field, preferably Masters.
perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs and etc.
some experience as a clinical research coordinator, or related healthcare experience
obtaining informed consent
patient screening and recruitment / enrollment
maintaining and dispensing study product and supplies
completing and ensuring the quality of case report forms
maintaining source documents and ensuring site quality
timely response to queries
working under the direction of a scientist or medical researcher, clinical trial coordinators use media outlets, questionnaires and interviews to recruit and screen research participants.
Coordinators schedule tests and experiments, make sure samples get to labs as necessary, watch over the study's data collection process and file the necessary reports regarding the study's progress.
