Executive Director Job Opening in Bloomington, Indiana - Evergreen Village in Bloomington is our brand new Assisted Living in Indiana that will be opening soon & we are currently hiring an Executive Director who must be a licensed Administrator in the state of Indiana.
Initially your responsibility will be marketing and outreach in concert with our sales and marketing team. You will have the unique opportunity of creating a start-up management team that achieves our standards of excellence, and our mission of Love, Compassion and Dignity.
In this role you are the Leader of the community. You are responsible to select and support a management team whose members address the needs and the satisfaction of our senior Resident population. You and your Team must lead by example, and demonstrate dedication to our mission. You must have a proven ability to work with families and Residents to achieve the balance of quality of life and business objectives. You must be skilled in leading and motivating staff to promote the Gardant philosophy of providing quality, dignified care.
The Executive Director has financial responsibility therefore must keep expenses and staffing in line with revenue. As a result, the understanding of completing, reviewing and analyzing the community budget is essential. Meeting with families, attending food committee and Resident council and organizing staff functions during the work day and in the evening are critical to the success of the community.
Requirements
At least 5 of experience in health care setting. At least two years of related work experience must be of manager capacity. Assisted/Supportive living experience highly preferred.
Start up experience of a new facility desirable
Ability to concentrate with many distractions.
Exceptional multi-tasking, interpersonal, relationship building and communications skills; both verbal and written.
Possess understanding, patience and tact in dealing with staff, Residents and their families.
The ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of people. EOE
