Sales Representative / Designer consultant. Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Allure Window Treatments is looking to add another Designer Salesperson to our growing sales team. Our ideal candidate MUST have both a design degree and previous experience in home design-related sales. An interior designer with a strong sales mentality would be a great fit.
100% commission pay so only highly self-motivated applicants please! This is a great opportunity to be fully independent and make some real money. If you don't make over $60k in your second year that would probably mean you should not be in training for qualified candidates can take up to 6 months, depending on you! You will not be sent out on sales appointments if you don't have a good understanding of all our product lines or our process. During the training period you will be paid hourly with the intent to convert to full-time commission pay as you complete and close actual sales orders.A great salesperson knows how to listen to a client's wants and needs; to be observant and control the dialogue without being aggressive. Most customers today are informed and aware of their options in terms of the types of products currently available and from whom they can purchase them. They must want to choose you over all their other choices.
Job description: -
Prepare for pre-set daily appointments and meet with pre-screened clients to advise them on window treatment products and options-
Drive to and carry sample books and cases to client's homes; offer design guidance and suggestions; accurately measure windows, doors etc; finalize sale ons-site and prepare a work order for the office to process
Job requirements: -
Valid driver's license.-
Highly self-motivated and organized- Positive attitude, likable personality, independent work habits- Professional but casual appearance (no need to wear a suit)-
Take an interest in and be aware of home design trends-
Basic tape measuring skills and familiarity with fractions
