Staff Accountant Job Opening in Arden, North carolina - As an essential part of the Wicked Weed Brewing team the Staff Accountant will prepare financial reports and analyze how the company is performing financially.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting around month end close for craft brewery. Help support any federal, state, local, or internal audits of company policies, procedures, or transactions.
Ensure appropriate A/P and local capex data entry.
Implement proper tracking and monitoring processes when necessary.
Reconcile inventory and help to ensure proper inventory control processes. Upload counts and review variances on a timely basis.
Develop and maintain adequate OrchestratedBeer ERP knowledge and system maintenance.
Help controller to ensure adequate control environment. Monitor existing processes.
Assist controller with special projects.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate degree in a business field, preferably Accounting, or related experience.
2+ years of accounting experience providing information to management
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize projects
Intermediate excel skills including familiarity and proven experience in the areas of advanced formulas and PivotTables is preferred.
Possesses critical thinking skills and able to work independently
