DIRAK is looking for an experienced accounting employee to increase the capacity of our Finance department, specifically within Accounts Receivable, with the potential to grow beyond this initial role.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review and monitor the A/R aging for collection efforts?weekly status updates to Controller and Officer(s) of the company
· Process all incoming payments from customers and other DIRAK group companies
· Accountable for reducing delinquency for all accounts receivables in accordance with DIRAK guidelines
· Develop methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company collection goals
· Communicate with past due customers in accordance with DIRAK?s late payment escalation guidelines in a manner that does not jeopardize future business potential
· Resolve discrepancies and payment issues with customers in a prompt, courteous manner
· Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management
· Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data
· Work on other projects as needed ? especially in close coordination with Controller and VP of Sales and Marketing
· Position will act as primary backup for DIRAK?s Controller and will require candidate to learn majority of this role in order to provide coverage when Controller is unavailable
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Four year college degree required?Accounting preferred, Finance/Business accepted with experience in accounting, especially working in A/R
· 3+ years of related experience, preferably directly with A/R
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Highly detail oriented with excellent judgment, analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to function in a highly confidential environment
· Outstanding interpersonal communication
