Senior Accountant Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Our clients are looking for Senior Accountants with a CPA and background in public and private accounting to assist in the management and development of activities ranging from General ledger oversight and application of GAAP or all transactions, account reconciliations, monthly end close, and financial reporting activities.
Primary Responsibilities Include
Oversee and maintain all general ledger functions
Lead quarterly, and monthly annual close process
Create financial reports and statements
Support corporate accounting and FP&A teams across the board
Work on ad hoc projects as needed
Key Qualifications Include
CPA Required
Bachelors or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years? experience- specifically through a combination of corporate accounting with a public company and private experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP required
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Proven experience and or shown progression toward leadership responsibilities

Salary: $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
