The Medicare Qualifications Specialist position requires outstanding organizational and communication skills. In a typical day the coordinator will coordinate 15 patient orders, communicating with doctors, hospital case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Insurance & eligibility verification
Obtaining and reviewing medical records to ensure insurance guidelines are compliant
Data entry & creating sales orders
Communicating with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other health care providers verbally and in writing
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be well versed in LCD of Oxygen and CPAP
Must understand and be able to define deductibles and copays
Basic math
1 year DME or medical insurance verification experience
COMPENSATION:
Full time position 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday
