Salary range: $52,500 - $78,000 DOE
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining the quality of the Bank?s SBA/USDA loan portfolio. Provide support for all loans. This support will include the packaging, processing oversight, and closing of all SBA/USDA loans and the subsequent actions that may be required. Ensure loans are packaged and documented according to SBA/USDA Standard Operating Procedures and closed according to the Bank?s approval, SBA/USDA authorization and within Bank, SBA/USDA, and Regulatory guidelines. Provide a working leadership role within the department to include monitoring daily workflow, providing training, and ensuring credit quality of the SBA/USDA portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a working knowledge of SBA/USDA Standard Operating Procedures and Bank Procedures. This may require attendance at several seminars each year.
Demonstrate the decision-making ability to work under limited supervision with Bank personnel, government employees, third-party vendors, and the borrower to ensure that loans comply with all government and Bank regulations and requirements.
Serve as a resource for SBA department staff, and bank personnel to address all SBA/USDA-related questions, training, and needs.
Review approved Credit Presentations for any SBA/USDA eligibility issues and work with the lender to resolve any issues.
Track, follow up, and obtain required documentation and manage workflow to ensure that loan commitment deadlines are met, and that each stage of the process is efficiently managed. Demonstrate strong organization and methodology in reviewing files. Must be able to handle multiple files at the same time without confusion.
Use LaserPro, SBA One and E-Tran (SBA online data entry) to obtain SBA approvals and appropriate loan documents.
Prepare the loan and compliance documentation necessary to protect the bank?s and SBA?s interest.
Review and approve documentation for lender prior to signing.
Review executed loan documents and approve for funding.
Monitor post-closing exceptions to ensure timely resolution.
Monitor commercial loans for compliance with SBA and other Regulatory requirements
Audit loan files
Compliance with all Federal and Washington state banking regulations, including but not limited to BSA/AML, GLBA, and Privacy regulations.
Provide timely reports and updates.
All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree and/or combination of equivalent work experience
Broad knowledge and experience in SBA, Commercial, or Consumer loan underwriting, processing or packaging. Complementary industry experience (i.e.-paralegal, escrow, insurance, accounting, compliance/audit) may be considered.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting SBA/USDA, Commercial, or Consumer loans.
Strong computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
