Project Administrator / Office Assistant Job Opening in Yonkers, New york - We are currently seeking a office assistant full time with a minimum of 2 years? construction experience for our Mid-size construction firm in Yonkers. Salary negotiable based on experience. Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Assist management with all projects.
§ Enter information into Sage100 accounting software J/C,P/R,ESTIMATING & BIDS.
§ Prepare written communications such as change orders,submittals & RFI's.
§ Enter change orders, submittals &RFI's into Sage 100 and updates logs accordingly.
§ Purchase and update material (logs) as needed for specific job sites.
§ Prepare weekly job reports.
§ Attend to other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
§ Ability to work independently.
§ Must be flexible, team focused and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
§ Must be able to receive instruction from other team members and work cohesively with them on projects.
§ Highly developed computer skills - Computer literate, able to navigate through all Microsoft applications with proficiency, Excel proficiency is a must. Auto cad a plus.
§ Strong customer focus.
§ Maintains confidentiality of sensitive business information.
§ Strong written communication skills.
§ Highly developed interpersonal skills
§ Construction office experience a must
