Quest is seeking qualified individuals for the following role:
Accounts Payable (A/P) Coordinator
The Quest Team, through quality and innovation, builds communities where people with disabilities achieve their goals.
This position is responsible for establishing purchasing and payment processes across all Quest programs to ensure effective and timely recording of purchases and payments to vendors, as well as approval processes to ensure that all purchases are adequately reviewed by proper levels of management. The position processes all payments for Quest and subsidiary operations in an accurate and timely manner and reviews expenditures to identify unusual or questionable purchases and communicating those questionable items to appropriate levels of management.
:
Review all invoices and purchase orders for appropriate documentation prior to approval for payment
Properly codes, enters and balances all invoices for payment
Prepare and perform check runs
Maintain online payments where applicable and record manual checks
Reconcile and pay credit card statements
Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries
Responsible for new vendor setup in accounting software by Certificate of Insurance and W-9 forms.
1099 maintenance and year end preparation
Assist in month end closing and annual audit
Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent experience
4-6 year accounts payable experience
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
High proficiency in data entry
High level of organization
Knowledge of Excel
Minimum Requirements:
Eligible to legally work in the United States.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to thrive in a team environment.
Ability to provide proof of educational achievement or required certifications such as a high school diploma, GED, college degree, advanced degree, or medical credentials.
