Clinical Research Coordinator Job Opening in Bessemer, Alabama - Currently seeking an Experienced Clinical Research Coordinator in the Bessemer, AL area.
Looking for an experienced clinical research coordinator who can handle all aspects of the CRC position from pre-study visit to study close-out, 1. Including finding the Sponsors/CROs, 2. study budgeting and contract negotiation, 3. staff training, 4. recruitment, 5. informed consent, 6. regulatory, 7. clinical procedures, 8. accurate data entry into Source Documents and ECRF, and IRB, 9. study and monitoring visits. 10. functions independently under minimal supervision 11. phlebotomy required * The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will be the missing link between the investigative site and study sponsor teams. * The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) decides how to best accomplish the daily requirements of various study objectives, prioritizes workload and establishes systems needed to achieve specific study goals. * Efforts of multiple departments or disciplines must be coordinated to ensure effective follow through and compliance of all involved. * The incumbent functions independently under minimal supervision, following FDA, Good Clinical Practice, IRB, NIH, NCI, NSF and/or other regulatory agency guidelines and seeking council from the Principal Investigator as necessary. * The CRC is expected to closely monitor use of experimental equipment and drugs, the CRC must be aware of the subject's condition, well informed in the use of study material (devices, equipment, etc.) and conscientious in his/her analysis of appropriate actions. Studies are Phase I - 4 with a wide variety of indications. Must have fast data entry skills (60+ wpm), detail oriented. Four year college degree preferred.
