Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse Job Opening in Florence, Alabama - Our healthcare facility is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. At our long-term residence, the LPN helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. The LPN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living RN/LPN responsibilities
Provide wound care
Provide bedside care
Assist with resident comfort
Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
Help coach staff as necessary
Collect samples and monitor catheters
Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
RN/LPN skills
Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Compassionate and friendly demeanor
2+ years' nursing experience
Up to date first aid and CPR certification
Current LPN license in the state
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 /hour
