Front-end Developer (asp.Net) Job Opening in Madisonville, Louisiana - Located on the Tchefucte River in scenic Madisonville Louisana, Cleargistix is a cloud-based Digital Field Ticketing System that enables customers to digitally capture revenue, safety, inspection, payroll, and other information in the field and track it through every step in the review, approval, and reporting process. Job Description
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is highly motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. You will work with other developers and those interacting with our users to bridge the gap between user requirements and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. This is a full-time remote position with some required office time as needed.
Requirements
5+ years? work experience as a Developer
Develop new user-facing features, maintain or improve facilities already in use with respect to backward compatibility
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with other development team members and members of other departments
Translate Front-End requirements to Back-End specification and communicate this to the Back-End developer
Ability to work in 2-3 week sprints in a fast-paced environment
Skills / Qualifications
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Familiarity with Telerik Ajax controls
Good understanding of the Bootstrap framework and responsive design in general
Competence in C#, Visual Studio and TFS
Strong communication skills required
Experience with Jira a plus
Commercial product development a plus
Full-stack experience a plus
