Substance Abuse Counselor LCDP Job Opening in Woonsocket, Rhode island - We are currently seeking a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor *LCDP* for our Woonsocket facility. Hours are Monday-Friday 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Position Summary: The primary role of the counselor will be to facilitate groups, enter appropriate documentation, work with individual patients in developing goals, writing treatment plans helping patient complete their goals.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Provision of counseling services to patients
Timely completion of patient paperwork
Maintain up to date and accurate patient records
Provide case-management and referral services
Maintain state required certifications
Attend required training
Outreach and networking

Our hours are earlier than many places, typically 6:00AM to 2:30PM, this gives our counselors more time to pursue part-time schooling and hobbies in the evenings and weekends. Hours subject to change by location.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences with 3 years of prior Substance Abuse Experience is preferred.
Excellent Verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
Time management & organizational skill.
License LCDP or working towards
