HealthCare Assistant Job Opening in Bellingham, Washington - Two Full time positions available for our Bellingham Medical / Everson Medical Clinics. Must be fluent in The candidate will be able to communicate in all these languages clearly and accurately; must be able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements. Individual must be flexible to work extended hours, weekends and at alternative sites, such a farmworker housing and camps. Medical terminology and knowledge of social services preferred but not required. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This person must be able to meet the physical, mental, emotional and social needs of the population served. High school graduate or GED required. Speak, write and read proficiently in English. Must be proficient in the interpreted language and communicate clearly to patients. Solve practical problems in a variety of situations, where limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to connect with the patients and providers on a professional level and anticipate patient needs based on cultural variations. Certification for interpretation with the State of Washington DSHS Department is desired but not required.
