Senior Java Developer (Full Stack, CRM) Job Opening in Orlando, Florida - We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for a full-time position (Salary + Benefits) in the Orlando (FL) area.
General Job Description:
The Senior Java Developer, CRM Applications is responsible for the design, estimation, development, documentation and support of critical business applications. This role is part of the Customer Acquisition and Loyalty Systems team and interacts with other IT Java teams.
DUTIES:
- Work closely with other business and technology experts to define new or improved business processes and implement quick, flexible, and high quality technology solutions.
- Leverage advances in technology as well as direct customer feedback to deliver new applications as well as ongoing support and improvements to existing applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing web applications.
- 2+ years of experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Proven competency with modern web technologies, including Java, HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, and AJAX.
- Up-to-date experience developing web applications & services, as well as consuming data from public and/or internal API's.
- Bachelor?s Degree (CS, IS, or Mathematics is preferred).
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including object oriented design, design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with common software development tools, such as source control tools (e.g. GIT), build automation, and testing tools.
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Ideal candidate is able to juggle multiple support and development efforts.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Has experience working directly with business partners to identify problems, propose solutions
- Has experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and has experience with a wide variety of development teams such as CRM, Data, Analytics & reporting, and web application.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone, jQuery, and is desirable.
