ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The outside solar sales consultant would be primarily responsible for generating and maintaining their book of business while also going on pre-set, pre-confirmed appointments with residential customers. Consultants will have autonomy in regards to products that they sell as well as territory in which they do business. The one objective here is to scale an already successful company with top tier talent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In-home sales of solar electricity to warm prospects from both company and referral sources.
Analyzing site, electricity usage, customer wants and needs, and developing rapport to enable you to close the sale.
Use a variety of computer or app based applications to develop all the details for the sale and company support teams.
Update company Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) with all pertinent data throughout the sales process.
Participate in weekly sales calls, monthly sales meetings, and training as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must have the need, the desire, and ambition to earn $100,000+ annually.
2+ years work experience in "In-Home Sales"
Highly persuasive, self-disciplined, and honest
Articulate with excellent communication skills
Able to analyze and be technically sound with numbers and technology
High energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills
Must be flexible working weekend and evening shifts
Must be computer proficient (+CRM tool preferred)
Must have a clean driving record (example, no DUI in the last 5 years)
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen
Bi-lingual abilities is a plus
Must be able to self-generate leads
COMPENSATION
Competitive Uncapped Commission. Average First Year 80K+
Top Rep is currently making 320K for the 2016 year.
