Project Manager Job Opening in seattle, Washington - Project Manager SUMMARY: The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing the communications between Quantum and its customers and ensuring customer quotations and orders are produced according to customer?s specifications within the agreed timeframe. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Work with sales representatives, assistants and CAD to define the scope of a project. 2. Coordinate all aspects of the project scope with the client and other Quantum departments. 3. Use Quantum?s CAD tools to generate product drawings needed for quotations and sales orders when necessary. 4. Manage Quantum?s Design Review process to ensure product designs within a project are complete and accurate and meet the customer?s requirements. 5. Manage all customer communications. Ensure customer requests are addressed by Quantum employees and promptly communicate any problems, issues or schedule changes to the customer. 6. Coordinate the efforts of Quantum employees to ensure customer orders are produced according to their specifications and within the agreed timeframe. 7. Coordinate post-sales customer follow up 8. Process all internal and external Change Orders. 9. Work with peers and Quantum?s management to problem solve company-wide problems and to develop company wide goals and strategic plans. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. TECHNICAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 1. Strong knowledge of industry standard CAD systems. Working knowledge of AutoCAD highly desirable. 2. Working knowledge of the window and door industry is highly desirable. 3. Experience using MRP or ERP systems is highly desirable. 4. Working knowledge of common software applications including Outlook, Excel and Word. 5. Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret Technical Product drawings, work order documents, operational procedures and equipment operator manuals. SKILLS: 1. The ability to listen to others and to communicate information objectively in a manner that ensures customer understanding. 2. The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and then propose solutions that resolve the problems. 3. The ability to systematically analyze work and pay attention to detail. 4. The ability to exercise common sense and good judgment. seattle wa washington
