Sales Development Supervisor Job Opening in Sunnyvale, California - Based in the heart of Silicon Valley, Realization is now looking for a Sales Development Supervisor extraordinaire to join the team to lead and scale our new sales development function to dizzy heights. This new inside sales team is part of a strategic initiative in the company, personally led by its founding CEO, to move to a SaaS business model.
Realization?s streamlined dedicated promotions team will provide the sales development team with a steady stream of contacts who are potentially interested in Concerto. This frees them to focus on what they love, using their savvy telephone skills to demonstrate how Concerto can solve their business problem and convince them to book an appointment with one of our salespeople. On any given day you will:
Supervise and coach the sales development team. You'll directly train, supervise and recruit a team of 2-3 employees. You?ll have a natural talent spotting top performers and fostering an environment of fun and success.
Phone jack and provide real-time performance evaluation. You?ll regularly listen in on sales calls and provide real-time feedback. And, when required, you will pick up the phone and show how it?s done!
Manage reporting, systems, and processes . You'll assist with forecasting by ensuring the accuracy of the Sales Pipeline. And you?ll be responsible for maintaining the sales development team at full utilization and ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed and completed, quality standards are met, and that orders are profitable.
Report at sales meetings . You'll regularly update the management team on the performance of the team and status of notable opportunities.
Be a problem solver. The team will look to you for solutions to their daily problems!
Be creative. Brainstorm and project manage innovative lead-generation campaigns.
What you need to bring to the table: You'll be as sharp as a tack. You'll be comfortable managing sales teams and sell to people over the phone. Because you are a quick learner, learning our systems and articulating our services, products, ideas, and concepts will become second nature to you.
Here's what we're looking for:
At least 5 years of sales experience which at least 2 years are in a supervisory or management capacity (Any more experience is actually NOT beneficial). You have sales experience, understand how sales and salespeople work and have a proven track record of managing a sales development or sales team.
Proven experience as a supervisor, leader, and developer of people and teams.
A Bachelor?s Degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).
You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and being in the thick of it. This is not a position where you will be in a corner office creating pivot tables.
You are tenacious, goal-driven and don?t readily relinquish a position or course of action.
Understanding of sales and marketing concepts. Your feedback about our promotions will be helpful in tailoring offers to customers (both new and existing). As such, it's a definite plus if you have sales and marketing familiarity.
Nice to have:
CRM Experience. You have experience with CRMs. (Of course, we also provide training on how we use "our" CRM.)
Understanding of project management and how projects impact business. While you don?t need to know the in?s and out?s of project management, some knowledge will be very helpful.

$90k-$110k salary, based on experience
