Job Summary:
Work & travel within defined 6 state territory to develop new customers and increase sales to existing customers. Create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain new sales. Provide technical support during the sales & installation processes. This is a developing territory; looking for a highly-motivated self-starter, who enjoys outside sales, to maximize territory potential.
Responsibilities:
Identify & contact potential customers, through prospecting, networking, cold calling, telemarketing, etc., in order to acquire decision maker, competitor & other pertinent information. Follow up with these companies to convert to sales of DL products.
Make presentations & demo DL products to various groups within potential client organizations. Formulate & present proposals. Close sales to achieve sales goals.
Maintain relationships with current customers to service the account and sell additional products.
Develop project plans & the scope of work for current projects.
Act as technical liaison during the selling and installation processes.
Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the focusing on conveying the expectations set forth, i.e. clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations.
Collaborate with management to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components.
Track and report on the status of all proposal components.
Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participate in site visits.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Extensive travel within a defined geographic territory. Territory includes WA, OR, MT, ID, WY, CO.
Required Education:
Bachelor?s Degree in business or other related discipline, or Associate?s Degree and related experience.
Required Experience:
At least two years successful selling experience in industry or in outside sales in like industry.
Skills:
Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills. Experience with budgeting processes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel.
Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
