Travel : 50%
The Vice President is principally responsible for providing technical support and working closely with DMG MORI Area Sales Managers to provide innovative solutions to customer work requirements on DMG MORI machine tools.

Building and fostering relationships with customers
Act as a member of the sales team to promote the sale of Company products and providing technical sales support
Conferring with salespeople and engineers to assess equipment needs
Developing, presenting or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements
Recommending improved materials or machinery to customers
Visiting customer facilities for review of outstanding engineering and service-related problems as well as strategic review of sales opportunities
Visiting end-user facilities in order to resolve difficult engineering issues
Visits to OEM factories in Japan, Germany, and/or Italy for customer visits, open houses, and sales training
Assist demonstrations by engineering staff
Develop strategic and tactical plans in order to accomplish yearly sales goals
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor?s, Master?s, PhD from an accredited university preferred
Related field and/or machining knowledge preferred
10+ years? progressive background in B2B sales
Recent experience in machine tool environments preferred
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines
Proven experience to communicate professionally with internal and external customers
Proven flexibility with shifting priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Proven organizational skills, with high attention to detail
Must be able to work 40 hours a week or more
Work Environment :
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
Physical Demands:
Frequent: Traveling, operating a vehicle, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing and walking.
Periodic: Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements.
Occasional: Bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching. Pushing, pulling, and lifting objects.
