Health Screener / Mobile Phlebotomist Job Opening in San Diego, California - eHealthScreenings is currently hiring independent contract Health Screeners / Mobile Phlebotomists in the San Diego, CA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
Set up and break down portable blood draw station(s)
May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting 10-20 lbs.)
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of 2 years? experience with venipuncture blood draws
Over 100 successful finger sticks within the last year and a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
Must have current certification and/or licensing required in your state of practice; able to provide copies of current certifications and/or licenses
Have outstanding customer service skills
Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision
Possess professional demeanor and appearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess a strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
Must be computer / internet savvy
Have reliable transportation
Ability to pass a full background check and drug screen
Must be available to work a PRN, event-driven position
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a Mobile Health doing onsite wellness screenings
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
OSHA-GEN, Office Safety Training, and OSHA ICP Training
