Office Assistant/Bookkeeper Job Opening in West Jordan, Utah - Full Time Office
Growing, family owned and one of the leading specialty pharmacies in the state has an opportunity for an Office to organize and coordinate office operations and manage AP/AR using QuickBooks and run Payroll using Surepayroll. Hours needed are M-F 9am-5pm, however the last week and first week of each month an irregular schedule is necessary to accomplish deadlines for statements to customers.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people in a hectic environment. This candidate must also be proficient with QuickBooks and understand basic accounting principles.
Responsibilities
Serve as the point person for mailing, supplies, bills, various operational data entry and Administrative tasks
Whole office bookkeeping entry into QuickBooks
Keep HR, Department of Workforces Services, and insurance-related paperwork and reporting as necessary
Insure that all HR Compliance postings are current and complete
Organize office operations and procedures
Answer phones
Post help wanted ads, as necessary
Manage relationships with service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
Manage office G&A budget within QuickBooks, ensure accurate and timely reporting of basic financial information to owners
Bi-weekly and monthly CMS reporting requirements are met
Develop and generate billing charts and graphs for clients
Interface with other departments and the owners of this small, family-run business
Other duties as assigned by management
Hire, Terminate, Performance reviews etc. with regards to Human Resources

Requirements
Proven office management, administrative, bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must work well with others as well as independently
Human Resource Experience
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must), QuickBooks, CMS reporting (Medicare & Medicaid), and high level excel proficiency (including pivot tables, macros, and formulas)
