In the first two years of his administration, President Obama has accomplished so much. We've expanded access to affordable health care for millions of Americans, passed the most significant reforms of our financial system in the last 70 years, ended discrimination against LGBT service members, and made huge investments in our country's infrastructure and education. However, there is still a lot of hard work ahead for us. President Obama will continue working hard to put Americans back to work and change the way that Washington works. The challenges we face are too great for Washington to be bogged down with the same old partisan fights. We have to keep fighting for real solutions to nation's challenges. Telefund is raising money to kick off the President's campaign, as well as other progressive organizations and causes including: the Democratic National Committee, the American Civil Liberties Union, the Human Rights Campaign, Planned Parenthood, and independent media like PBS and Mother Jones Magazine. We are hiring part-time and full-time callers to raise money and build support for these progressive organizations, political campaigns, causes, and candidates. We call current and past supporters to raise funds that help these great organizations pass legislation, build their membership base, win elections, and make a difference in the world. This is a job where you can do something you believe in while you earn your paycheck. * Hiring for afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. * Afternoons are 12:30pm - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday * Evenings are 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Monday - Friday * Evenings / Weekends strongly encouraged * Flexible schedule, 16-40 hours per week. * Terrific job for students * Average pay is $11.00/hr; top callers earn $15/hr including bonuses.
