Job Requirements:
Candidates must have 4-10 years of strong accounting experience as well as strong computer, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, be fast paced while also being detail-oriented. Must be an energetic and solutions based team player with the ability to work independently, and have a desire to become an expert in an industry. In addition, client contact and relationship building is required and is important for continued professional growth within the team. Efficient knowledge of Excel and accounting software are required. Candidates are not required to be on the CPA career path.
Job Description :
The candidate will assist clients with their accounting needs, be it monthly accounting preparation or review, work paper account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, preparation or review of financial statements, quarterly visits, business and personal tax returns, business and tax planning, or overall organizational planning. The candidate will assist in the training, supervision, review and evaluation of team members and their work. The candidate will need to organize, prioritize, and delegate work and projects. The candidate will provide coaching, mentoring, and motivate team member?s to assist in their professional development. The candidate will support the Core Values of Gray, Gray, and Gray. The candidate will be working within a specialized industry and have the desire to become an expert in that industry. The candidate should be able to maintain solid team member and client relationships and demonstrate a strong commitment to the firm.
