Position Overview
Provide Administrative support for Business Development Manager (BDM) by working with current and prospective clients on the administration of their self-directed IRA accounts.
Answer client telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner and schedule appointments for current and prospective clients and follow up tasks for Business Development Manager.
Work with prospective clients to establish new accounts.
Respond to, investigate and/or resolve client and referral source inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, e-mail and fax.
Effectively document and communicate client issues and concerns, primarily using Saleforce. Maintain completeness and accuracy of records in Salesforce and coordinate email ?blasts? from system.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of products and/or services.
Send out marketing material to prospective clients and potential and existing B2B referral sources.
Prepare ?packets? of marketing collateral for BDM-hosted events and send email ?blasts? to promote events.
Update Social Network Websites; e.g., ,
Qualifications
2+ years client service experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility, enthusiasm and an ability to empathize with needs and concerns of internal and external clients.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and to prioritize workload.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software tools. Salesforce experience preferred but not required.
IRA and qualified plan retirement account experience preferred but not required.
