Budget Accountant Job Opening in Ravenna, Ohio - GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Responsibilities include monthly closing and budgeting for Family & Community Services.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly closing and budgeting of Agency Programs.
Monthly reconciliation of asset and liability accounts.
Prepare monthly financial statements to programs on a timely basis.
Provide necessary reporting to funding sources managed.
Invoice funds related to programs managed.
Prepare and manage program budgets.
Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform work required with minimal supervision.
Experience in use of personal computers, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Valid Ohio Driver?s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.
Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Minimum of two years experience preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
