Electrical Field Sales Engineer - 28787 Job Opening in Gorham, Maine - Staff Hunters is recruiting for an Electrical Field Service Engineer.
Job Summary:
This position assists customers, representatives and sales in product sales and applications. It utilizes engineering techniques to identify, trouble shoot and enhance customer applications.
The field engineer is responsible for supporting company products, training, and services. They will also be able to generate plans, and designs for electrical products and systems. Experience programming PLCs and with Ladder Logic is required.
Key areas of Responsibility:
Works with all departments across sites to ensure electrical processes and products are developed to meet customer requirements.
Performs and evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
Drives customer retention and builds win/win relationships, continually seeking to understand customer objectives and how our services may fit into their needs.
Provides application support for on-site technical service and coordinates with the sales department for PLC and Controls issues.
Maintains up to date and regular service records for all electrical customer paid service requests and calls.
Provides detailed engineering solutions for projects and products.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of all company and competitor products.
Will travel as required for field service, 40% expected.
Education and Experience:
A.S. or Bachelor?s Degree, Electrical Engineering
2+ years of customer facing, technical support experience
Proficient in PLC Programming, Ladder Logic
Strong analytical skills
Proficient with Excel
