Job Description
Applicant will be responsible for generating and sending monthly customer invoices, tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generating weekly aging reports in a timely manner. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient with MS Office (especially Access & Excel).
The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask to meet strict month-end reporting deadlines. A strong communicator, both on paper and over the phone is desired, as he or she will frequently deal with higher levels of management.
Job Responsibilities
Generate and send all customer invoices
Ensure monthly billing is accurate
Update monthly global revenue report
Conduct account research and analysis
Prepare and maintain various reports
Support the tax reporting and external audit processes
Enhance the accounting processes and assist with the implementation of documentation procedures
Work on ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned
Maintain an accurate aging report
Send statements to outstanding customers
Interact with clients to resolve outstanding issues
Make collection calls as needed
Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
1-2 years of experience as either a staff accountant or auditor (Software/FinTech knowledge is a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF function, SUMIFS)
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Highly motivated, professional and hard working
