Leopold & Associates is seeking a Finance/Accounting intern to join our team at our corporate headquarters based in Armonk, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with plenty of opportunities for growth and advancement.
The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, and professional and has experience with working in a law firm environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end financial reports
Post journal entries
Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation
Assist with audits
Balance sheet reconciliation
Support the payment processing team
Data entry.
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors
Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook and Excel
Professional written and communication skills
Strong word processing and proofreading skills
Ability to work meticulously to ensure the quality of your product
Must have excellent phone manner and written and oral communication skills
